need help picking a scope

im looking for a scope to put on a tikka 270 wsm. i like the vx3 i have on a 308 its a 4.5x14. thought about getting one of those but was not sure what reticle to get. i also like the burris i have on another deer rifle. though its less power.any other ideas to try that wont break the bank would be great

Look @ the Mark 4 w/the 40mm obj. I've got one w/a Mildot on a 308 and have been very happy w/it. Might also try and find a Bushnell tactical. It will be tough but there has got to be a few floating around out there. Neither is a NF but they cost 1/2 to 1/3 as much!!

I, and a friend of mine, have had very good luck with the B&C reticle that Leupold puts in their scopes. Also like the TMR. Depends on what you're going to be hunting, I guess.
