ok what i have is a remington 700 sps vtr with bdl type floor plate now what i want to do is put an adl stock on the gun could anyone tell me what i need thank you all so much

+2, just inlet the damnded thing for the BDL bottom metal. Should be easy as both of your action screw holes are there already, just stick some inletting screws in your action, drop it in the stock and lower the bottom metal to stock on the bottom side and see what needs to be removed. scribe around the exterior of the floorplate and go at it with a dremel if you're brave for the bulk of it, then chisels or backed sandpaper (milling machine being the best if you have it!:)). Don't go past the lines and start to fit it by putting inletting black (or white depending on the color of the stock inlet so it shows) and take off what shows.....
