Need a hand - night hunting

i have tried using a pvs30 on the gun and a thermal monocular for scanning, thermal is great at spotting but then trying to transition to the pvs30 sucked, way harder to pickup a coyote on the pvs 30 if there is no snow on the ground, ended up getting a lwts for a clip on for the gun and pulsar accolade binos for scanning, cost a lot of money but is way easier to use, and easier to kill the coyotes you call into range.

We use a handheld thermal monocular for spotting coyotes at night, then use nightvision to shoot them. We use the Pulsar XQ38 Axion thermal monocular.

Yup I agree with the thermal for scanning if you can swing it. I still have a pulsar hd19a that I scan with but I wouldn't want to purchase anything with worse specs than that device. Thermal is getting cheaper. But you will have $1000+ into a thermal that is considered acceptable for scanning imo.
