I just got my new brass and had a few questions. Are there any special steps I need to take when necking--this is my first time. I already ran it through the FL sizer and everyting went well. The brass OAL is still in speck. Should I trim it after I fire the brass and neck size it or trim it now. Anything else I'm forgetting? Rifle is a Sendero.

Look at your neck thickness. When you neck down the neck thickness increases. The brass should'nt be too tight in the chamber to release the bullet. If you have a fired case from your chamber measure the outside of the neck and compare to a new case with a bullet seated in it. The fired case should be a thousandth or two bigger than the new case/bullet combo. If the new case/bullet is bigger you will have to reduce neck wall thickness by outside turning or inside reaming.
