N568 Vihtavuori Powder

Group shape in my opinion tells alot not just size what it will do at long range especially groups that have that distinctive one that will be 1/4-3/8 out of the other 2

If you look at the pic i posted the shot thats lower left I would be more comfortable if it was up 1/4-3/8 more, I have a suspicion this load will have vertical its why I test everything atleast at 500 farther is better.
I guess I'm trying to say more of a cloverleaf shape

I still haven't been able to get any up here, would love to wring it out on a couple wildcats that it would be just about right for

Siroccos? I can see what I have left once I set up the new reloading room. Everything is packed right now.

I'm not shooting them at anything but coyotes and for neck shots on hogs anymore and have plenty of other bullets.

My apologies guys,

I should have mentioned that I meant the VV N568 powder ...

I've got N165, N170, N560, N565, N570, 24N41 & 20N29 that work awesome in key cartridge & bullet combos, haven't been able to get the N568 stuff out here yet, of course this plandemic bs created more difficulties in getting any kind of powder

Ive tested the N568 in my 300 norma improved. Did a ladder test. A 5 gr spread in powder and almost 200 fps spread in velocity was just 2.56"/.42 moa vertical at 580 yds. The lower node is giving single digit es for multiple 8-10 shot strings. 230 OTM at 2990 fps. Shot a group at 1000 that was 3.6" wide and 3.01" tall. One thing I had to do was use a 12" drop tube and pour slow. This load is consistently stupid accurate. Did the load development at 40 degrees. Shot it again when it was around 0 degrees with the wind chill. Was 15 fps slower. Plugged that into applied ballistics so it will adjust for temp changes in the future. Shot a 3 shot group at 580 the other night that was 2.065" tall and had a ES of 3 fps. Powder charge test was done with a kahles 1050. After the load was found I threw my Tangent 3-15M back on.

Gun has the borden bigfoot action, manners eh1, proof carbon etc. Spotting hits and watching trace off the bipod is no problem.
