Congrats and thanks for sharing your story and pics! I grew up in Custer and hunted Hills and West River deer and turkeys until I joined the Navy and moved away. I put in for elk from my first year until I moved but never drew. My uncle put in for over 30 years and never drew a Hills elk tag. But my niece, on the other hand, drew a tag and got a bull in the Southern Hills on her first year of hunting!
