Finally!!!!!!! I polished it up with a little but of Mcguire's clear coat polish, what a difference! You can't see it in this picture, but I'll get some good ones up once I get the finished rifle back! 2.8 lbs as a blank, a fair portion is gonna come off the muzzle end.

WOW, you better up your game to master class for the stock and action to do that justice...awesome!
I never thought about polishing a CF barrel with car polish. It sure is pretty.

Ya, green carbon ordered from Bartlein. Took about 20 minutes with this polish and a cloth, and the cloudy matte finish cleared right up and gave it more depth, though it is a little shiny now if that's not your thing! But dang it looks better than I had hoped! Especially when it's put in it's natural environment.....ha ha
@codyadams was there any reason you went straight 30 nos over 30-28? Killer build as always!

Simplicity mainly. The 30 nosler does what I need, has a good design, and has readily available components. I have never looked and not found ADG 30 nosler brass. Can't say that about pretty much any other 30 cal in this class, and the 28 nosler is hit and miss. The 30 nos is just unpopular enough that you can find stuff for it everywhere

The white kind of looks more blue, my cousin ordered an identical barrel but in white, to go with his blue build, it's different. The red also looks copper-brown
