You zeroed yet, just wondering if youre topped out. I am only one revolution off with a 20 moa base

Good looking rig.

yes i'm zero'd at 200y and I have 4 moa left on the bottom, leaves me 65 moa of up.....yes I know the vortex site shows 65moa as the travel for this scope but mine seems to have more like a little over 70

nice that is a long dam way at least with my load i think that is pushing 2100 yards for just scope adjustments is that a steel base?

Thats an awesome rifle. I like the color scheme. I have two questions, though. What do you mean you have 4 MOA left from the bottom? Also, is a 7mmx300 a wildcat of the 7mm remington magnum?

That's one nice lookin' stick! I hope she shoots lights out at the big distance for ya! gun)

Ya know, I'd be more than willing to give her a test run out here at some higher elevations - all in the name of serving another hunter... :D

Congrats on putting together a well-thought-out rig and as mentioned, I truly hope it's a one-hole shooter.

I'm still reeling from buying another house and trying to get my business more active at the same time. I've a little while before I start putting together a 7mm/300 Win for myself so I'm vicariously enjoying yours!

1930 @ 500ft (home)

2180 @ 7500ft (WY hunting grounds)

I do plan to shoot it out that far next month

the base is aluminum. I called EGW and bought a 20moa and paid another $20 to have it re machined into a 40 moa before they shipped it. took an extra week to get it done.

I have 4 moa of adjustment down with the rifle zeroed at 200y, with this sight height I am also zero at 50y so it works out real nice.

as said it is simply a 300win necked down to 7mm, same shoulder and all

Thanks! so far she's shooting pretty good so far and i'm not done with load development. I don't even have all of my brass shot once yet. I think i'm at 60 rounds down the tube.

I will be in WY at 7500ft next month i'm going to push her limits then, I plan on pushing it to 2200y that's around 70 moa so I will have to hold 5 in the scope.....but the bullet is still super sonic :D

When you do get to build one you will love it!

Awesome rig buddy! Good luck out in Wyoming !
I'm finally back to shooting and will have the final results of my 7-300 AI to post in the next 2 weeks.
