My mount.

My taxidermist sent me some pics of my mount, should be getting it back in a week or two, he estimated the buck to be 7 or 8 years old. It had a 31" neck, he said it was the largest bodied deer he had ever received.

You killed a grand ole man that day. He reminds me of an old 7 point I guessed to be in the 160" class that I hunted for several years without ever getting a shot at him.

Found him dead after falling through the ice last winter.

They don't get that old being stupid. Congrats.

thanks guys. I think the taxidermist did a good job, and he realy isn't that expensive, only $300 for the mount.

You got quite a deal there Mike. Where was this buck killed? WIth that kind of body weight I'm guessing midwest?
