My custom R25 rig

Those rifles have different gas port sizes, gas system lengths, buffer and spring weight combinations to account for the added volume of gas. I understand why you said that, but its not really comparable. Thanks for discussing this with me.

Good luck in your next match sounds like a real good time.

PS. I looked up that range you mentioned what a super place to live buy.

I agree. Thats why I bought the JP adjustable gas block to help with over gassing the system. As far as the bolt face and the barrel extension, I think it will hold up fine but if it doesn't i'll be sure to let you guys know.

I'm building a savage 243 with a bartlien 1/7.5"twist 5r barrel and a xlr chassis for the next match. Hope it goes a little better!

Are these just a DPMS dipped in camo? Remington owns DPMS right? Or I should say the company that owns remington also owns dpms

Well I shot the match and the rifle did really good. Me on the other hand did ok at best. I hit 12 out of 20 targets and my longest hit was 969yds and the farthest target was 1070(+ or -)yds. This was my first match and I caught myself making mistakes like not watching my bubble level, bad shooting positions, and not making wind calls. The rifle had no problems other than some blow back from the suppressor making the ammo dirty which didn't effect anything really. 1st stage I hit 2 of 5 targets, 2nd stage I hit 2 of 5, 3rd stage I hit 4 of 5, 4th stage i hit 4 of 5. As you can tell once I started to settle down I made more hits.

Very nice rifle and I only hope to acheive some of the results youve acheived although you called it making mistakes. LOL?
