So I noticed that the most anti-gun candidate won the Democrat primary. On multiple websites she is seen proudly declaring her support for a ban on semi-automatic firearms.

The following is from her own campaign site
"Kathleen supports the Second Amendment. She is a gun owner. But four courts have declined to extend Second Amendment protections to military-style weapons. These are firearms designed to kill and maim quickly and broadly, not hunting equipment or for self-defense." So she claims that she is a "gun owner" but states that military-style weapons are not for hunting or self-defense. Claims like that make me doubt her having any sort of firearm knowledge or actually owning and using a firearm. And we should all know by now that with ignorance like that she will not hesitate, in the name of keeping everyone safe from "sniper rifles", to vote away our rights to own things like .338s .408s and .50s as well.

Montana's current house representative, Greg Gianforte, is a known supporter of the Second Amendment. I would trust him over Kathleen Williams to protect our gun rights.

If you live in Montana make sure you inform your fellow gun owners of the imminent threat that Kathleen Williams poses to the 2nd Amendment. And emphasize the importance of getting out and voting for a candidate that will defend their Second Amendment rights

Here are some links
Williams:

On this one she speaks of "Sawed-off Shotguns" as though they are so lethal, we all know that decreased barrel means decreased velocity, less lethality.

I have lived in MT all my life. Right now the overriding single issue in our politics is where the candidate was born. Gianforte ran an issue oriented campaign for Gov and and lost to our current pin head Governor who ran a single issue campaign around the fact that Gianforte was not native to the state. He almost lost to a musician that has literally not practical leadership experience who ran the same "native" campaign. Tester is now running the same "native" campaign. Real Montanans must show up to the polls. These leftists truly want to turn MT into California. MT is second only to Alaska when it comes to natural resources, and we are 49th in the union for wages. These socialists want to take our guns, allow homeless to invade our state, and turn MT into a zoo.

leftists invade a state like a plague of locusts and devour everything, then after there is nothing left but a wasteland, they move on to the next garden spot.

Yet these morons are convinced that their policies are not the reason that everything they touch turns to crap. Nope. Its the conservatives. "The failure of leftism is due to the racist, sexist, white patriarchy cult of the founding fathers." Blame Christians and gun owners too for good measure. If only they could have full totalitarian socialism, the disaster would magically turn around into utopia. etc, etc, etc.

I will give Tester this, he has not openly called for any anti 2nd Amendment legislation that I have seen. I don't know how he would vote if presented with a bill to ban semi-autos.

Kathleen Williams has openly stated that she will vote to ban semi-autos. I also truly doubt that she supports hunters.

We in Texas have the same problem...getting worse--every year...the fundamental problem with politics is most "normal" people cannot run--they have jobs, families, and businesses--the people that serve are rich, elite, well known, or ones that have no job and a cool name...the general public is too busy making a living to have time.

My father served on many boards( did not like it but said he had a duty and to look out for his rights)--Rural water, county government etc...and he is right--decision of a very few make life hell on many--and usually the few making decisions are the poorest informed on the subject.

Tester has proven to vote party line on everything. He is no Montanan. We are self reliant robust people who don't want help. We just want to be free.

So it looks like Kathleen Williams has been endorsed by one of the leading enemies of the 2nd Amendment, Gabbi Giffords.

Come on Montana, get yourselves and every gun owner you know out to vote in the midterm elections for a strong 2nd Amendment candidate. We can't have the great state of Montana sending a hater of the 2nd Amendment to DC.

The phony Tester has got to go too! He is no friend to freedom. He shows up here in MT every election cycle tells us how he is a rancher and shows us his hand that he stuck into a piece of equipment to prove it. Then heads back to Washington to further push the lefts socialist agenda damaging the MT way of life. He is not looking out for us. He votes every hard line liberal agenda from gun control to open boarders. He is a big part of the reason MT has gone from one of the highest income States to nearly the lowest. We have almost no industry here anymore.

Tester is campaigning this year as if he is working with Trump and backs his Make America Great Again agenda. It is a lie! Get out and vote MT!!!

Steve

To all the gun owners in Big Sky country, good job!!! We sent an enemy that posed a bigger threat than ISIS and the communist Chinese packing a got a strong 2nd Amendment supporter re-elected. Let's hope Gianforte body slams as many anti-gun members of Congress face first on the concrete when he gets back to DC.

We won this battle but the war wages on.

I don't know how all the people in Montana thought it was a good idea to vote tester in again. I couldn't vote for him solely on giving money and nuclear rights to a terrorist nation. I am pretty baffoe by my own state right now. And one guy I work with was like I'm so glad tester got elected now all we have to worry about is gianforte selling off our public land

Right? No need to worry about a socialist regime that will take our bill of rights away, starting with the 2nd and then the 1st amendment. I'll stop here so Len doesn't have to shut down another of my political rants.

Keep an eye on your 2A everyone. Another shooting in CA, they will be coming...And Tester will be in the mix on the side of gun control.
