Who is going to save this action/company?

I cannot believe how much of a dumpster fire it has been to get a good high accuracy model 70 action to market.

I for one would love a Winchester 70 pattern action machined from bar stock, shouldered prefits, maybe straighten the bolt handle out a bit, maybe hang Remington trigger off it

Well then, ante up your portion of the cost to build this company to make that action.

Failing that you can get a Dakota action or a CZ action from which to build or a complete rifle should you so choose.

Defiance and Mausingfield both build control round feed actions.

Dumoulin actions are available through SARCO.

Only the Dakota is similar to M70, the others are M98 clones.

There is nothing hard about finding a beater M70 Pre-64 action either for a build and it's not hard to build on. The cost may surprise you but that's to be expected these days.
