Montana Elk unit 420

Got a rifle tag in 420 this year. I've put eyes on the unit in previous years in September and October but I'm curious if those elk are all on private by mid November if there's been a fair amount of snow. Anybody seen many ATV's or outfits using horses in the unit?

If I recall right that's a small unit with the Utica game range in it?

Correct. It's got national forest on the west side and the Judith river WMA in the middle. A bunch of private to the East.
