Montana & Arizona

LR-130, on Montana ballot. "Don't Take Away Our Freedom To Make Local Decisions" - "JOIN US IN VOTING NO ON LR-130" The cry of those who oppose LR-130.

This evolved, in part, from the attempt of Missoula city council to ban private firearm transfers within the city of Missoula. The Montana state attorney general ruled against it. The AG's decision was voided by a state judge, then the Montana supreme court upheld the AG's decision and the Missoula city council's ruling went away. The Montana state legislation, mostly Republican apparently drafted LR-130 which more or less preempted local politicians from drafting legislation that could affect Montana citizens not residing in certain localities or just traveling thru certain localities.

A good example would be some liberal city council, like in Missoula, deciding to ban magazines holding more than 10 rounds - making possession of such a criminal offense. Some unwary citizen from another location traveling thru Missoula gets caught with a 20 round magazine and then is charged with a criminal firearm offense.

The anti thing in my mail box claimed that - "LR-130 is opposed by veterans, ranchers, doctors, nurses, hunters, law enforcement officers, and the Montana League of cities and towns ...." Then - "is an attempt by lobbyists and out of touch politicians to take away our freedom to make local decisions"

At this point I am reminded that $27 million is being dumped into Montana, a state having about 800 thousand people ($30-$35 per human) in an effort to get Steve B elected to US Senate, and Kathy to US House of Rep.

I might have not got all the details exactly right but this is the gist of all of it. We don't need a variety of city regulations that would adversely affect other Montana residents. Possibly, Missoula might regard its city boundaries as check points with inspection stations sort of like some caliphate to ensure its "Freedom To Make Local Decisions".

We definitely don't need more liberal socialists here in Az. I'm fourth generation Az, have never seen so much turmoil stirred up by the left. Never thought I'd see burning and looting in this state. Kelly's political ads started aggressively catering to the far left, now we see him calmly talking to seniors and declaring he will be bipartisan. McSally gets my family's vote.

You are correct on this and agree, McSally all the way.

I never thought I'd see the destruction and rioting that happened in Phoenix not long ago. We need to set up and relocation blocade for all the liberal west coast people that are moving here and messing up the state, they can stay there with their idiotic policies and views.

Now why hasn't McSally set up an add with the videos of Kelly shooting his guns? I dont get it, that would say a lot about the hypocrite he is.

Down here in Tucson its bad. Most officials are democrats/libtards and the policies and programs they set up have the city and county all screwed up and in shambles. I cannot throw a rock in the air and not hit leftist person when it lands.

Okay enough ranting Lol. Stay safe all

Did they go nuts when POTUS was in Tucson today?

Firearms & politics.

I, being sort of a pessimist, was really pleasantly surprised to see the Republicans - Senator Daines reelected, Congressman Gianforte elected as governor, and Matt Rosendale elected as congressman. Major cities in Missoula county(Missoula), Silver Bow county (Butte) and Gallatin county (Bozeman) voted democrat for Steve B, Kathy, and Mike. Hopefully, Jon will be defeated next. All these democrats have fuzzy views on the 2nd Amendment, claiming to represent Montana values like shooting deers and other game but balking at accepting the very common and popular AR 15, usually seen and enthusiastically used at most rifle ranges in Montana (buckets of range brass) - there has to be 10's of thousands of AR15's in Montana. Apparently these democrat politicians see a connection with and limit the 2nd Amendment to hunting and their followers believe kindness and gentle behavior will prevail so nobody will face brutality and horror and don't need the civilian version of one of our nation's combat weapons in the family gun safe.

Election Cheating

Probably common in Michigan, Wisconsin. Pennsylvania, Nevada, & Arizona. President Trump is a fighter and will react to this stuff.

If our enemy ever gets control of all three branches again it is safe to assume that their first order of business will be infringing on our Second Ammendment rights.

As an outsider who is looking at USA or DSA(devided states of america) I find this disturbing. You call people who dont agree with your views as enemys?
Be carefull how you talk about others since it will shape others view not only about them, but also obout you.

Thank you for your interest in our dear beloved United States of America (the arsenal of Democracy), a country that "bailed out" Europe during the last world war that ended in 1945, in part with the defeat of Nazi Germany in May 1945. Upon visiting Norway a few years ago I stood feet away where the Norwegian patriots hung the hated Quisling (Nazi suck-up) for crimes against the people of Norway. Quisling's crimes included placing the Norwegian people essentially on bare subsistence rations that resulted in malnutrition deaths of thousands of infants and elderly.

My family emigrated from France in the early 1900's seeking a better life. We quickly adapted to America and realized that the United States' Constitution provided a framework of laws to protect our family from government supported predations and this gets into the 2nd Amendment - the right to keep and bear arms. I took the oath, required upon enlistment in the United States Navy, to protect our constitution against all enemies. That oath remains many years after. Our family, being of a minority group in France, had suffered from persecution for hundreds of years at the hands of government and that has shaped our and my views of what constitutes an enemy - infringement of God given rights - reliance on God, indicated with a Bible near the front door of every home.

Same for my dear wife, of Norwegian descent, her family emigrating from Norway in the early 1900's - Fishermen (cod fishes, more than one) from Vaeroy, Norway.

Rest easy out there, Thescandinavian, because if it "hits the fan again" the USA has your back. Keep on posting stuff as we love to hear from our shooting brothers from distant lands.

Your kind of thinking makes the problem worse. In my experience, I've found that there are people who are convinced that they have an exclusive right to force their ideas on everybody else, they are an enemy of all freedom loving people. Your smug superiority complex is useless when dealing with this kind of egomaniac. Neville Chamberlain tried to appease Hitler and we know what a failure that was.

There is such a thing as an enemy and not having the spine to challenge them is despicable and cowardly. Narcissistic tyrants aren't swayed by intelligent debate, they only understand physical force.

Well, the new Montana governor is from New Jersey. I cannot see how this is going to expand firearms freedom and grow reasonably priced hunting, land access and public land access.

You'll need to shoot a mile to hit that elk on a square of public land that you can't access. Then rent a helicopter to go get it. That would be fine for Greg....think about that!

....and yes, Bullock was an ***!

Isn't their ability to do so a result of the constitution? We allow people to accomplish this by giving them the right to vote. By giving them the right to vote, we give them the right to make new laws and change old laws. We even give them the ability to change the constitution. Was this the intended purpose of our forefathers or a simple oversight? If this was the intended purpose then are they really our enemy? Are they really the enemy of freedom loving people or are they just a different faction of freedom loving people exercising their constitutional rights to support their beliefs?

I find it disturbing that our neighbors are called the enemy because they don't think the same we do or vote the way we want them to. Maybe its because my family and friends range from the most liberal to the most conservative and I would defend every one of them with my life. I guess I was just raised wrong.
