new guy here...looking for advice on my .308 model 88 winchester ......sighted in at 100yds .shot 3 " to right at 50 ....readjusted at 50 yds .now shot 3 " to left at 100 yds ...any suggestion ...does the barrel nut on the forestock needs adjusting ,specs say 69 foot inches .free floating the barrel ? glass bedding? thanxs Jack

What size groups? Not holding zero could be a scope issue. Bedding generally is a factor on these rifles, but basically its moving farther than I would expect from bad groups.

part of the problem could be keeping the rifle steady since it takes both hands
to pull the trigger on 88s.
