If your friend is interested? I have a unfired Cooper Phoenix Model 22 chambered in 6.5-284 Norma with a Farrell Industries picatinny top rail that I'm willing to sell.
He will need to get from Cooper. Depending on what is wrong with his original bolt Cooper may replace for free.
Thanks guys, this is the deal. My friend has had this rifle from cooper for awhile and has shot it to the point his barrel is going down hill. Cooper replaces their own barrels out at a very reasonable price.
Now he has his old barrel sitting there that is still a very good shooter and wants to get it up and running again. And of course wants to keep the cost down as much as possible. We were both scratching our heads how to do this the right way when I put this post up.
