anyone have experience with minolta activa binoculars?
i have a pair of some cheaper minolta's that i like very much but have been damaged (no fault of Minolta)
i'm looking at the 10x42 XL thanks for any help that can be offered

Re: minolta bino\'s

...don't have any experience with the Minolta 10x42 but do highly recommend the Swarovski EL series... be sure to check these out before you purchase anything... hope this helps...

Re: minolta bino\'s

socalgrizz,
Do what Larry O said and get a pair of
swarovski's if you cant afford the EL's
the SLC's are awesome as well. I noticed
you are from Kaliforniastan well I am from
Utambul. Leave the mind of Minolta to camera's
B
p.s.look through a set of 10x42slc swarovskis

Re: minolta bino\'s

I echo what brianb said. Even the part about being from Utanbul! Check out the stats on the Swarovski before you buy anything else. The binos you are looking at are pretty good, but those Swarovski SLC's are built like sherman tanks, and the optics provide ultimate resolution! Price is an issue with them I know, but consider them an investment and scrimp on anything else! I lived off cup-o-noodles for lunch for one full year to buy mine and it was worth every stale noodle!
