mill/lathe combo

Hey guys I am looking to buy my first lathe and wanted it to be set up for doing threading and reaming but also to be able to flute. Is there any combination machines that I could use for this?
I found this

but it seems like you can only mill small peices with that!

I'm not an expert but have experience with going cheap on a lathe and ancient mill/drill machine.

I'd suggest a separate "quality" machine for each operation.

Those more experienced hopefully will chime in.

The mill/lathe you listed will do neither. You really need to buy 2 separate machines. Pick up a good 10x36ish lathe and a good bridgeport style mill. Expect to have over $20k in the combo with some tools.
