I got to try out the Eberlestock G4 operator, my nephew's, and thought it was a very well constructed and comfortable pack. I had a heavy load in it and the frame handled it well. The only complaint I had was when I went prone the scabbard pushes on the back of my head. I am not sure if that is a flaw in design or me not knowing how to completely set it up properly, but my nephew said he experienced the same issue and never resolved it. That said, the pack itself was excellent.
