Metal finishes

I have two nice custom Remington 700s in nice stocks with stainless barrels. The problem is they were both built on ugly parkerized actions. Have any of you had your rifles coated in Robar NP3 or any other type finishes? I am open to any suggestions but I would like to stay away from "ugly".

You can't go wrong with Walter Birdsong. His Black T finish is legendary. He does all the FBI SWAT guns, TACOPS rifles, and some S&W Performance pistols. I have two rifles done in the green version of his finish, and think its great. His # is (601)939-7448.

I'm glad this was brought up, does anyone know who can put Titanium Nitride finish on barrels,etc?

Stiller actions come with TiN coating on their bolts. You might want to call them to ask about that process.
