Gorgeous buck. Wish we could hunt rutting bucks two states south of you.
At 21" isn't that 7WSM more like a 7-08? Obviously works just seems like you're limiting the performance of that cartridge.

it was one of the funnest hunts ive been on for deer.
lots of deer lots of hot does, with bucks chasing them!!
awesome to share the hunt with some good friends and get a long shot on him.

I know there is a "range" that the Boone and Crocket people want to see for Blacktails getting into the book. Does this one qualify?
I missed a 4x4 built like that one several years ago. Nicest buck I ever had the chance to shoot. And I screwed it up.
