McMillan

I have one of these on my groundhog rifle, a Rem 722 in 223 Rem. It's a lighter stock by comparison to what I normally use (H-S Precision PST05). I like the stock, it has a nice feel to it and is tough.

This is the stock used by the Marine Corp for their sniper rifles for many years, they're switching to a different model now. If it can survive use by young military guys it's pretty tough. The USMC version has a different fill material than the standard version I believe, the USMC uses a heavier (more dense) fill.

(No disrespect to the young military guys intended. I was one too at one time and if something could be broken it didn't last very long. Fella said once that "If you lock a private in a closet with two steel ball bearings and come back in a half hour you'll find that he has lost one and broke the other".)
