McMillan Edge Stock for a 338 Edge

Has anyone tried an edge technology stock with a lightweight 338 Edge setup? I have heard of people doing it but no firsthand info. Thanks. Tony

McMillan uses it on their rifles in a 338 Lapua.

I called and talked to them about the ones used on the EOL rifles. They are not the same edge that you and I can get. They are a cross between a conventional and an edge tech stock.

If you've already asked McMillan about this, what did they say?

They don't recommend the edge stocks for anything over a 7mm Mag. That is directly from them when I ordered my A-3 Edge stock last year.

Yes I believe they said when I talked to them they don't recommend the edge fill for anything less than 300 win mag. I have one on an stw and hasn't broke yet

I would look at manners carbon fiber stock with light fill forget what they call it , I have one on a 338 lap and they said there was no caliber restriction on them
