I am currently in a similar experience. I ordered one of their stocks that was in the online store for my rem 700 7mm rem mag xcr II. It was an EH6. It was inletted for a factory mountain barrel well my 7mm is a magnum sporter barrel. It was my fault I didn't pay attention to the details. So I shipped it back (at my expense) asking for a refund. When the received the stock they called me and asked me what was wrong with it. I told them that I made a mistake on ordering the wrong contour. They basically said ok no problem. Well the next day I got a call from Tom Manners himself asking the same thing and I explained to him the same thing. Then he asked If I was interested in shipping in my barreled action and they would fit the stock, bed it, and float the barrel at no cost. I was almost awestruck. I said yes I would for sure but I asked how long it would take because I need it this fall for elk hunting. He said he would do all the work himself and have it back to me in a couple weeks. Well its been over a month now and I haven't heard anything. But I'm not to worried I'm sure he is a very busy man. As long as I get it before September I will be happy.
