Ok
I have seen several rifles using this stock with the sendero light contour and have been told by several that it will and will not work with the sendero contour....im sold on an eh3 but have a sendero on order. Has anyone done a build like this?

Sendero light will go on a short action only, sendero is a no go. I have done multiple of them that way in eh2 and eh3.

Thank you for the responses guys this is the first time i have got a chance to check back in. This seems to be some what of a gray area on this stock depending on who you talk to. I called manners and they said sendero light long or short action.......a sendero would work on a short action but not a long for a 700. Then i find a thread over on coues whitetail where a guy built a 7mm on a clone long action with the sendero contour and rifle puts 3 in a nickel lol so im still getting alot of different answers. I know Alot of this will come down to how much meat a guy wants on the forend and just becuase it will indeed fit doesnt leave the stock with much strength so just gsthering all the info I can.

Well I stand corrected. I have an eh2 here (same fore end as eh3) cut for a la and proof sendero. These pics are of a sendero light which fits with room to spare. Don't have a sendero on hand but should soon. My only concern would be the shoulder of the sendero. Also, this is a bdl chassis so it sits a little higher than normal. If it was dropped down it would get tighter in the shoulder but for all intensive purposes this does fit. It's skinny but does go.
