magwell scratching brass

i have a rem 700 adl and everytime i load a round it scratches my brass on the right side where the bullet loads from. on the body all the way to the rim of the brass i can see it happen now thats how i know where its from, whats an easy fix for this?

I'd use some emery cloth or a small file to file down the rough spot that is scratching your cases during loading.

thanks i have had at it for a while with a small file hoping it would help looks like this is gonna take some time

It doesn't take much. A little wet dry 320 on a popsicle stick to break the edge then polish with 400.

i have never had this many problems with a remington 700 took it to a gunsmith and he got most of it out still shows a little scratch but not nearly what it was befor
