Magnum obsession seems real

We see a lot of different stuff around here, from the .243 Win. class cartridges to some of the bigger "long range" stuff. Lots of game including elk, have been killed with the smaller lighter cartridges.....sometimes those hunters, wish they had more. Though, I can't ever remember someone saying......"I wish I had less"! memtb

One thing I'll add is this analogy, this is one way I see it, smaller cartridges like the 223 Rem are a lot of fun to shoot, like driving a fixed up 4 cyl car with 230hp.

Then a 7mm-08 or 308 Win is more like a 6 cyl 330hp car, it's just more fun.

And then you have a Magnum, that's like driving a 500hp Muscle Car. They are just way more fun to shoot.
