The shotgun porting is called pro port and was done at the same company and is a little different design. I also install a dead mule recoil reducer in the stock for the FFA shooters at our club that are younger and smaller built.

I Magnaported my 20" barrel Ithaca Model 37 12 gauge slug gun and it made a difference in muzzle jump, but it still kicked like he double hockey sticks!

My grandpa gave me an Ithica Mod. 37 Featherweight 12ga pump what I was 13 ( in 1975 ). I had a 28" mod barrel & a 26" smooth slug barrel. I absolutely loved that gun & shot it a lot for many decades, until when using high brass would throw the pump back. Then it got put away. Really awesome, inexpensive gun.
