I'm looking for a rangefinder. Not looking for one that will range a deer at a mile. What I am looking for is a quality RF that will range deer at 500 yards. Kinda looking for a Leica, but would look at others.

Please PM me with what you have.

Thanks!

I have a Swarovoski Laser Guide 8x30 that I would sell for $600 shipped.

That's actually a great deal on a highly regarded LRF.

I would never look beyond Vectronix, but for the average hunter. THe Laser Guide is well liked for performance and size.

I'll give you a little info myself.

The laser guide is one of the best lasers out there for hunting. The beam is real small to get you the range of what your trying to range, not what's behind it. Serious problem if you think the deer is 750 yards cause that's where the treeline behind it is where the deer is actually 590 yards.

It is light and smaller than say a Vectronix and people range stuff way on out there with them.

As far as true hunting lrfs they are probably the best yiy can get with out spending $2k.

Only downside for some people is how big the aiming circle is. But really all you need to do is center it. Laze the animal and if your unsure laze the background to know what your looking at.

And BTW $600 is a great price if its in good shape.

Lrf is unreplaceable for lr hunting/shooting.

Thanks, Robert.

I was not very clear, was looking more at the condition of 6.5's optic.

But your post was good. I have had a 8X30 swaro for 15 years, never leave home without em.
