This is my first post so please go easy on me. A bit about myself: I live in S/E Michigan and I've got hooked to target shooting earlier this year, after I bought my first rifle at an estate sale (an older Mossberg semi-auto in 22LR); since that time I've acquired a lot more firearms & reloading equipment; I'm currently enjoying a great Savage model 12 (.223) as well as a Marlin X7VH (.308) plus another 22LR (mostly the kids) on top of a couple of 9mm pistols... Long story short I've got hooked big time and I'm trying to make it to the range at least once every weekend (as long as my better half doesn't complain too much). Along with the range visits comes the brass picking, sorting and cleaning (which is almost as much fun as shooting). This brings me to my current state: I need to get rid of some of this stuff to offset the costs associated with the hobby as well as clean up a bit (according to the wife).

This is what I have for sale (all brass was range picked and cleaned in a Lyman tumbler with walnut shell media - not as shiny as corn cob but does the job):

1. 30-06 brass (1st pic below) - 356 cases total (I have more un-cleaned) - most of it appears OTF - asking $0.30 / piece, shipping NOT included; here's the breakdown:
a. 155 x Remington (R-P HS);
b. 84 x Winchester (WIN HS);
c. 65 x Federal (FC HS);
d. 17 x PPU (Serbian made, good reloading brass);
e. 14 x HXP (I think is Greek but not sure - HS HXP '76 & '77);
f. 10 x Federal nickel (FC HS);
g. 3 x Winchester nickel (WIN HS);
h. 2 x Hornady (HORNADY HS);
i. 1 x WW-Super;
j. 1 x SEARS;
k. 4 x military (LC & AK HS);
2. 243 WIN brass (2nd pic below) - 142 cases total - most of it appears OTF - asking $0.30 / piece, shipping NOT included; here's the breakdown:
a. 72 x Winchester (WIN HS);
b. 34 x Federal (FC HS);
c. 24 x Remington (R-P HS);
d. 12 x Hornady (HORNADY HS);
3. 270 WIN brass (3rd pic below) - 116 cases total - most of it appears OTF - asking $0.30 / piece, shipping NOT included; here's the breakdown:
a. 44 x Remington (R-P HS);
b. 33 x Winchester (WIN HS);
c. 29 x Federal (FC HS);
d. 10 x Hornady (HORNADY);
4. Miscellaneous brass (4th pic below) - 168 cases total - varies in terms of condition, please ask - please make offer, I won't set a price; I would suggest to bundle it (makes no sense to ship just a few cases); here's the breakdown:
a. 30 x 300 WIN MAG (13 FC / 10 R-P / 3 HORNADY / 2 WW-SUPER / 1 PMC / 1 HRTRS);
b. 28 x 7mm REM MAG (20 FC / 4 WW-SUPER / 2 R-P / 1 HORNADY / 1 SPEER nickel);
c. 20 x 220 SWIFT (all R-P);
d. 19 x 22-250 REM (13 WIN / 6 R-P);
e. 16 x 260 REM (all R-P);
f. 14 x 300 SAVAGE (all R-P);
g. 10 x 270 WBY MAG (all WEATHERBY);
h. 7 x 7mm-08 REM (6 HORNADY / 1 R-P);
i. 7 x 6.8mm SPC (all HORNADY);
j. 6 x 6.5mm CARCANO (??? - Russian or Greek);
k. 5 x 270 WSM (all R-P);
l. 2 x 308 MARLIN EXP (??? - I'll let you know if interested);
m. 1 x 300 WSM (WIN);
n. 1 x 35 WHELEN (R-P);
o. 1 x 8mm MAUSER (??? - Russian or Greek);
p. 1 x 7.5x55 (??? - Russian or Greek);
Please understand that I will not be able answer instantly to your PM / email (I have a day job and a family). As a side note - I'm also considering to sell some 308 bullets - I have 155 & 168 grain Nosler CC's as well as some Hornady A-max in 155 grain (haven't fully decided yet if I want to part with them, but in case you're interested in some of the brass above we might make a deal).

Thanks for looking,
Dan

Short update:

- part of the 270 WIN brasss is SOLD (all the Winchester brand); there are still 83 cases available (44 x R-P + 29 x FC + 10 x Hornady);
- the 300 WIN MAG is SOLD;
- the 6.8 SPC is SOLD;
- the 260 REM is SPF;

I've cleaned more 30-06 (bold are updated) so here's what I have as far as 30-06 (total = 418 cases; I have more but is not cleaned yet):
a. 201 x Remington (R-P HS);
b. 89 x Winchester (WIN HS);
c. 70 x Federal (FC HS);
d. 17 x PPU (Serbian made, good reloading brass);
e. 16 x HXP (I think is Greek but not sure - HS HXP '76 & '77);
f. 10 x Federal nickel (FC HS);
g. 3 x Winchester nickel (WIN HS);
h. 3 x Hornady (HORNADY HS);
i. 1 x WW-Super;
j. 1 x SEARS;
k. 6 x military (LC, FC & KA HS);
l. 1 x PMP (PMP HS);
I've also found one more 243 (R-P HS), so the total for the 243 WIN = 143 cases.

Thanks,
Dan

The 243 brass is SPF.

At this point I have 54 x 7mm REM MAG cases for sale (also listed in a sepparate post).

Thanks,
Dan

What do you think about this one - see below - should I help? I don't really care about the money as long as is for a good cause. I actually have the means to help him if he's legit (I work for a big company that has a lot of travel between US nd UK); this is the PM I've received:

"Hi, im really sorry to pm you out of the blue like this, especially as a new member on this forum but I was looking through the forums and saw you were selling some brass. This may sound like an odd request but i was wondering if i could buy several fired cases from you, in a few of the calibers you have for sale (ive listed the ones im interested in below). Im trying to put together a display case and due to the prohibitive laws concerning firearms in the UK country its very difficult to get hold of what we would consider unusual calibers, rifles and ammunition so one one tends to have anything other than .308 for deer here. Im more than happy to pay for the postage and the cost of the case, but please dont just write this off because of the inconvenience. Like I say im very sorry to do this with no preliminary and if you feel im asking too much, or dont feel comfortable with it, please don't feel obliged.
Hope you can help.
Regards and good shooting
Matt."

Thanks,
Dan
