Here is the first batch a nice Blue marlin 400# class fish. Some yft and the larger one is a nice bigeye tuna. You can see the deck awash in blood.

A big white marlin was over 72" but I only had my giant bluefin Guage to.se. that was 4 or 5 inches short but I couldn't see it. These bigeye tuna are in the 170# class at 68 and 67" don't remember what the 3rd was. This blue marlin gave a very good show. I again couldn't see they said 131 or 132" 800+ is conservative on the weight.

Some smaller swords Joe Jeff and Franz 120, 103weighed and Franz's fish was his first just over legal. Had it not been his or this boat's first it would have been released. We hooked the proverbial monster on the other rod . Fought it for 3.5 hours before it pulled the hook. That fish came out of the water right away so we knew it was a big fish.
The Mako was over 700 on the spinning rod in the picture. I was sent this and I don't know the details beyond that. Really a great catch
Another blue marlin in the 4-500 class. Unfortunately it was in a tournament we got dq'ed in for being late to the weigh in. Long story short we had a 2nd place fish on board and I think the 3 blues would have put us in third place in the blue marlin Calcutta.

The Blue marlin was caught a couple days after the white marlin open by the same man in the cockpit of the Sushi Capt James C. In the Mid Atlantic the new record Blue for Maryland was caught breaking the 1010# fish James was a big part of on Let it Ride.
THe 2 Bluefin are both very good fish. The one on the right was 528# 102" gutted and gilled.
The one on the right was a true monster. I was told 128" and 954# but Idk if that is gutted and gilled(in this pic) or core weight. The real story is that the boat was a 21'er. The weather was terrible solid 6'seas and the wind was out of the NE and blowing hard. Lou told me he was losing him on radar at less than a mile.
Unfortunately I don't have many pics this year. Most everything is video and I cannot get them to load. Had some epic days with tuna.

One cool thing that I witnessed was this. I had somehow stumbled into a migration of Mola Molas ocean sunfish. At on time in this green pee water I had 20+ I could see. I put a couple squid in the water and they just slid right up to the surface. In an hour I had more than 200 slide by that I saw. Who knows how many were to deep to see. Water here is 12 to 20 feet deep just outside the surf line
