Ive traded for a gun that Im going to need more magnification on, so Im looking to do a little scope swapping. I have 2 of the best hunting scopes available for trade for a decent scope with target turrets and at least 20x magnification. A little higher would be better.
First up for grabs is a Zeiss Diavari v t* 3-12x56, ffp, illuminated "Duplex like" reticle (Not sure what zeiss called it on this scope). This scope has rings marks and a few scratches on the bell. The glass is perfect, and unbelievably bright and clear in low light. With the Diavari quality glass, 56 mm objective, and the illuminated reticle, this is the night hunters dream scope.
Next is a Swarovski Habicht nova 3-12x56. Also ffp, and also has a duplex reticle. This scope is pretty ugly cosmetically. It has a rubberized coating on it from the factory and it is flaking off under the rings and on the bell. The glass is perfect in this scope as well.
You will be hard pressed to find 2 better all around hunting scopes, and it isnt easy to part with either, but Im short on higher powered optics and something has to go.
Im looking ofor something like a vx3 or mark 4 6.5-20x50, or sightron sIII or comparable for ONE of the scopes, or would trade BOTH of them for something a little for pricey like nightforce nsx 5-22 or comparable.
