I currently have a decent Vanguard tripod with a crappy head on it. I'm looking for recommendations on a new 3-way head. Primary uses will be for still photography and for use with a spotting scope at the range and in the woods.

As a long standing supporting vendor here on the forum it would be our pleasure to discuss this with you and help figure out which would suit your intended use the best. If you've got a few minutes give us a call, 516-217-1000
Thanks

It's a geared head that operates with roller knob controlled movements (no clicks, smooth & geared) so you can pan & tilt in very small amounts. By grabbing the squeeze flipper you can pan and tilt in larger increments. Not a bad price either...
