I would have specified which model, but the people at Jewell assure me the M70W can be used on all Model 70s -- pre or post '64.

In any case, I want to put it on a pre-'64.

Jewell did not differentiate the new ones. I specifically asked about pre and post '64, and their answer, in a word, was "yes".

I asked Jewell a while back when looking at one, and they said that their trigger will not work with the modern MOA triggers, but will work with the Pre-MOA trigger style triggers all the way back to pre 64’s.

So basically nowadays it’s “Pre FN-Browning takeover” or MOA compatible triggers.
