looking for alaska diy float hunt ideas?

i am from pa and want to do a diy float hunt for moose and caribou. i have been searching the web for info ,and cant seam to get a solid direction. the 1500.00 for a consultant would be helpful towards the hunt.any ideas would be appreciated.
