Hi all, I've contacted 2 pretty well known gunsmiths in the industry about chambering up a LH 700 action. I need to have it modified to accommodate ultra mag calibers and accommodate a Wyatt's 4" box. As soon as I mention that they get scared off, what am I missing? Looking for a reputable gunsmith ideally looking in Minnesota but I can ship as well. Thanks in advance

Contact Jim Kobe in Bloomington MN he will get you set up fast, very competitive price and does a very good job. Google Jim Kobe gunsmith

I've had Jim work on my stuff in the past, he's definitely a good smith, but I know he doesn't care for Wyatt boxes and he is like the quintessential grumpy old man haha
