Long Range Target Cam

a guy on you tube made one for $100 using a drone camera. he got a pretty good picture of the target at 4000 yds. his name on you tube is eagle eye shooting

Okay, my friends....here we go. So, the target camera came back to me yesterday and I got everything charged up last night for a quick (and I do mean quick) 200 yard 'test' today. Was a little windy out (was gusting higher than 9 mph on my property up on a hill) AND I was shooting an UNFINISHED ( I repeat.....UNFINISHED 😁) load. So, keep the heckling to a minimum please 😂🤣. Anyways....I am very happy to report that the camera functioned FLAWLESSLY at 200 yards for the hour and a half (or so) that I fiddled with it today. Took some 'selfies' and fired a few (4) shots and the camera grabbed every one of them with ZERO 'connectivity' issues. I'm also gonna include some pics of some really cool charging cables (recommended to me by Kenny) that are magnetic. I'll post the Amazon link to those as well. They eliminate the 'charging ports' for your devices working loose on you which typically renders them useless. This is gonna be picture heavy....but here we go: First picture was the conditions. Second picture is the 'elevated' base unit with the antenna adjusted as best I could 'eye-ball it' towards the camera. Third picture was my shooting position (elevated base unit was to the right of that). Fourth picture is actually a 'screen-shot' from within the Eagle Eye Cam app on the tablet at 200 yards prior to shooting (hence the peace/'two' sign 😉). The next 4 pictures show the progression of 4 shots with the first beginning in the upper left diamond and 3 at the center diamond. Appeared to be about a 1-2 second delay (if that) from time of shot to showing up on the tablet/display. Ninth picture is me being stupid 😇after shooting (remember....UNFINISHED load 😂🤣). Gonna have to 'send' what I have so far because apparently I can't upload anymore photos until I start another post......so standby to standby...

Tenth photo is after I went and retrieved the camera and pointed it behind me to show the 'shooting lane'. The next six photos show those neat little magnetic 'doohickeys' from Amazon. Link to those posted below.

Hopefully I can get out again soon and try this thing at 500 yards (my max shooting distance around here) and see what happens. I'll keep you guys updated. I have to 'dote' on Desert Precision Gunworks' customer service and say that it has been OUTSTANDING thus far and they have been a real pleasure to work with. God willing, more to follow as time/conditions allows. Time for supper! 😁

I thought these darned cameras would put way to much turbulence in the air to be able to shoot small . Ha
Okay, Jim.....this one's FOR YOU! 😁So, as promised I shot this again at 200 yards with a 'finished load'. The camera functioned FLAWLESSLY as before so no issues at all there.

That's a keeper load there. Good shooting.
Thank you, Sir! Everything seemed to be working today......even the 'Nut Behind the Trigger' 🤪🤪! This has been a fun little project and thread to update. Now, I just gotta have a little more time to stretch the camera out at some distance again and see what happens.😇
