I've already had our first class of the year which went spectacularly.

I just posted future dates coming up.

20 March, 3 April, 17 April 2021 I'll post more as these fill up.

Are you NW of Austin? If so when I get my rifle, get to the range, figure out a ballistics chart, and get the barrel semi broke in I will be in touch and will be keeping an eye on your classes. Have been to a few classes because that is the only way myself and a friend can get any distance shooting in.

I'm in the East coast and would like to optimize travel time & expense. Do you ever offer this class immediately followed by the LR hunting or intermediate class?
Yes. The best thing to do would be to spend a day in the basic class and then some range some range time. We can stay at the big ranch and immediately start the intermediate or hunters course making shots at 700-2000y

Rifle/Ammo should be subMOA. A 1in gun will have difficulties at ranges beyond 700 and definitely beyond a 1000y
Need for Quality optics becomes very apparent.
The combined classes would cost around 2k - one over night stay on ranch. A second night and some pig hunting another 500$
Meals included.

You can shoot as much as you want. Myself and another instructor ran each other through the course yesterday and shot about 80-90 rounds of 6.5CM and 224val, then 20 rounds of 416Barrett.

Left Handed. 🙁
I have a .308 Savage that I used in a 1,000yd class, but am looking at either a 6.5PRC, 7SS or 7SAUM. I also have a 7RM and 6.5CM, but have not set them up for LR shooting yet. Just basic hunter gun and scope. I want something in between, you know Goldilocks.

If you want a 500-600 yard killer go for the 300PRC- thumps 1400y and 1760 capable.
Absolute killer inside 600y.

6.5-300WSM is another one.
