Even the 338 Lapua Savages have been having some issues from what I hear.

What kind of issues? I was planning on using one for a wildcat I am dreaming up based on the 338 Lapua case necked down to 284. Should I go Remington action?

I do greatly appreciate all the input guys. I would also like to say thank you Kirby for your expert advise and I do hope that one day after I get out of college I can get my hands on one of your rifles. I feel that one of your rifles could really help my dilemma. **** student loans.......
