Hey guys I have been so busy I have not had time to post but I thought this might be of interest. I build custom rifles and barrels and posted a while back when we started making ar-15 barrels, they are doing awesome. I shoot in the long range sniper comps and wanted to build an AR-10 for competition, so I started building an AR-10 barrel in 260 last week, the comp was Sat. and I finished the rifle Fri. night at 10pm after overniting some parts in. So we drove out to a field and sighted in with my buddy shining his headlights on the target, then moved back to 400yds and tried to verify my dope, I used my 6.5x47 dope and missed first shot so assumed it was low and held top of the 10in gong and drilled it 4 shots in a row!! this thing is a tack driver!! helped my buddy load shells till 1 am for the match and gave up trying to get anything loaded for the 260. I just took the 260 to the match. I ended up winning the Long Range Challenge at PNTC with my 6.5x47 but I got to shoot the 260 for fun after, I let quite afew people shoot it, everyone was stinging the plates with it at any range, cant wait to shoot it in some comps.Any way I will post some groups and videos when we get some decent weather. the pics are 1- the 260 barrel we made 2- 308 barrels we just made for testing, barrels on the left are finished along with an 18in. 3- completed rifle with our brake on it. 4-side view of rifle built on a dpms set, I won a billet set 308 at the PRS Sniper Match in NC from Devil Dog Arms thy just came in I will post pics of that build next, looks like nice parts.4- pic of the crew at PNTC match.
