I bought this a few weeks ago but it was a bit of an impulse buy. I had to purchase the trigger pins (Went high end vs Remington). No immediate plans for use.
Yes, this fits in a Remington 700 long action footprint stock. Has an extra thick recoil lug, and small extension past the lug, so you may have to open that area, if you have a stock built for a factory recoil lug or existing bedding.
