Loads for a 28 inch edge...

please help, if you have a load for a 338 edge with a 28 inch barrel please advise...

just made myself a new edge, rem 700 with a shilen select match but its only 28 inches long and has a sako trg 42 brake.

if you have some pointers on the load development for this barrel please help.

338 Edge Load Information

Several loads to work with here.

THNKS, AGAIN. this is my third build on the 338 edge but this one is in 28 inches of barrel and all the loads listed I could find is for 30 inch barrels..

I'll keep searching.

[Long Time Long Ranger]

Same load data as the 30". I built numerous 338-300 RUM's in the late 90's with 28" and 30" barrels. Load data is the same and velocity is so close it just depends on your individual barrel as to which is faster. On average though you may gain 18 fps per inch.
