Looking for advice. I am going to start working up a load for a Tikka I bought for my son for X-Mas. I exclusively use Barnes for my hunting bullets and love them. I have never loaded for a Creedmoor but have plenty experience with other calibers. When I load the 100gr TTSX to 2.700" COAL the forward groove in the bullet is completely exposed, this is a new Hornady Case and is trimmed to 1.920. I have never seen this on any other caliber. Is this normal for this combo or is something totally off?

Dont worry about the exposed groove. The 150gr TSX bullets do the same in my 7x64 and in 30-06. You have 7mm of shank touching the case neck which will give good grip.
