I just received a box of 127 gr. LRX for my 260. I can't seem to find any load data for this bullet anywhere! I have the barnes reloading manual but I don't know enough about it to convert information from a similar weight bullet. I know barnes is particular about pressure due to the unique configuration of their bullets.

Can anyone provide any info on this bullet for a 260?

I sent barnes an email but don't expect a response anytime soon due to the recent panic and subsequent rush on all things shooting.

My rifle is a M700 with a PAC NOR 24" barrel 1:8" twist

Thanks!

I don't shoot a .260, but for my 6.5x284 I worked up a good load with H4350 and the 127 LRXs. I used Barnes load data for the 130 grain bullets as a good go-by.

I asked the same question a few weeks back and I also have a 1:8 twist barrel. Let us know what you come up with.

I am currently looking at the 127 LRX bullet for a 260.. anyone have an positive comments for this bullet as a deer hunting bullet Proformance wise

The below data is for the 130AB on Hodgons site. That points to 43gr being close to max for the 127gr Barnes. I ran the figures through Quick Load and it confirms a high pressure. I would rather try 41gr to see at what rate the propellant burns in YOUR firearm.
Hodgdon H4350 Buy Now 0.264"2.780" 39.7 2,64650,600 PSI 42.7 2,81659,00
