I have a Remmington Sendero 300 RUM, and would like to try some long range shooting/hunting. I prefer a 180gr bullet. Could you recommend some loads and bullets? Should i look at a different bullet weight? Any and all advice would be appreciated.

If you are talking about hunting to 1000+yards you are going to up your bullet weight. The 180's would be okay for punching paper, but they don't have the guts to get the job done down range from 900yrds on. I would suggest a 200grn Nosler Accubond, 210 Berger, SMK, JLK, or the 208 Hornady A-max. These bullets will all have the necessary design to maintain the velocity and energy to knock down big game. Loads I can't help you with, but I know H1000, and Retumbo are among the favorite powders used.
