Little bit of 300 grain Berger results

They are not picky as far as I can see. I tried several seating depths fom .060 off the lands to .015" off the lands. Differences in accuracy was minimal. But the .015" OL showed me a very low ES and 20 fps more velocity and this is what I am using. The bullets in my rifle are consistantly holding 1/2 moa to 1400 yards.

Just got this as a response to a query at the Berger site:

In my .338 Edge test rifle, I tried 0.015″, 0.030″, 0.045″, and 0.060″ off the riflings. Groups were very similar for these 4 seating depths.
I also tried various seating depths in a different rifle chambered for .338 Win Mag. The same trend was observed there (insensitivity to seating depth).
Take care,
-Bryan
