I've been meaning to do this for a while. I'm hoping the rest of you will list magazine lengths for not so common bolt action rifles or whatever you have as well. Im listing my factory magazine length findings & measurements for Those who might need to know this for purposes of rebarreling to a different cartridge or for reloading purposes. My findings may be different than yours due to variance in manufacturing tolerance and such. Please list your measurements if they are different from mine. I will list the chambering of the rifle that I measured from because a long action 300 PRC Browning xbolt is going to have a longer magazine than the 300 win mag x bolt that I measured for example. Thank you to whomever contributes and I hope this can be of use to someone.

Link, thanks to and assembled by Muddyboots:

Sako L461 Vixen = 2.285" (As best I can measure as it has a Canjar trigger that requires disassembly to remove the stock)
Just realised I boogered up my dimensions on the Win Model 70 & Kimber, they are 3.400", not 3.340".
My Ruger M77 MKII mag length is 3.400" as well.

Cheers.

At the risk of sounding like a bone head but how exactly do you get this measurement? Still learning all this stuff and would like to measure my own to see how it corelates to the rest but not sure how to go about it. Thanks
