I am in the process of building a lightweight 260 Remington on a Bighorn Origin action with a 20" Sendero light barrel. The scope I plan on mounting on this rifle will be a Leupold 6x36 in either Talley lows or I may use a set of Conetrol bases and low rings with a Zeiss Diatal 6x32. My question is what lightweight stock will best suit the short barrel and low mounted scope? I like the Manners EH 8 for its overall length and weight but don't like the raised comb. I like the AG composite Privateer but am not sure I can get it in ADL which is what I am hoping to use. My other two choices are a Bansner Sheephunter or another MPI stock. I have two other MPI stocks and really like them.
