This rifle began its life as a GAP built .308. I wanted a .223/5.56 bolt gun so I sent it to Benchmark Barrels for a conversion. They re-barreled it and changed the bolt-face to .223. I thought I would shoot it a lot but as it turns out, I rarely do. It has less than 150 rounds fired since the conversion. Its is very accurate and easily shoots in the .3's with lapua brass and 77gr SMK's. Consistent MOA hits past 600 yards!
* GAP trued Remington 700LH action with side bolt release, SAKO extractor and Tactical bolt knob
* GAP bedded Mcmillan A5 stock with Mcmillan adjustable cheek piece.
* GAP tuned old style Remington trigger that is very nice
* Badger bottom metal
* Badger 20 MOA PIC rail
* Benchmark 7 twist, heavy varmint contour, 20" threaded 5/8x24" chambered by Benchmark in 5.56 match with a knurled thread protector.
* 2 Accuracy International Polymer magazines
* Cerekoted matt black.
