Anyone parting with any lever action rifles to make room for their long range toys? I'm interested in older Winchester and Marlin lever actions, another bad habit of mine lol.

How old are you looking for? I have an unfired Marlin 336 in .35 Rem with factory stickers still on it from 1979.. Pretty rare to find in this condition.. I have owned it for many years... no box though.

Generally older models, but being it is in .35 I may be interested depending on price. What are you looking to get out of it and where are you located?

I am floored to see what these are selling for. Mine is better condition... so probably not less that 1200.00 shipped. I am figuring that is more than you want to pay..

Yea, I'm not interested in it at the crazy over inflated market prices. Guns and ammo on Gunbroker are nuts. I appreciate the offer though.

Prices arent inflated. Its simply what happens when one company that makes a wanted product goes out of business and the next company has not started production. In this case, Marlin will never make Marlins again. Finding one in unfired condition get rarer and rarer each year. 1200.00 is a steal on an unfred JM, pre safety in 35 Rem.

Honestly it doesn't break my heart to hold on to it.. It is a beautiful solid gun.. Look what Pre-Crap Remington 700's are selling for, talk about high priced... No Remington going defunct... they will only go up. Value is dictated by demand anyway. Like warpig says, good products no longer made, is what you want to collect. I go into a sporting goods shop and all the new guns look like disposable junk.. not something I want to pass down to my kids or grand kids...

I'm seeing 30-30 lever guns going for 3 times what they are normally going for. Ammo at $65 a box. If you don't call those prices inflated I guess I'm confused.

look at a Marlin 30-30, JM gun prices pre Biden scare were $350-$500 and ammo was $17-$25 a box.

I collect lever rifles and am fairly knowledgeable in them. Your rifle would bring $750 on average normally, pre Biden panic.

If you're in the market to sell it now is the time to list it on Gunbroker, in 6 months prices should drop just like they did after the first Obama election. Unless these liberal socialist morons try to take our gun rights.

It has nothing to do with Biden. Leverguns arent on his menu. Its the fact that they arent being produced anymore. YOu can call it inflation, everyone else is calling it new normal pricing. Until Ruger announces what their plans are, this is it.

His rifle in that condtion hasnt been a 750.00 gun since Marlin was sold to Remington.
